Joya was leased, as a brood mare, to an individual several years ago where she was injured. The injury was treated but left an area of her wither permanently altered. She has been extensively viewed by a veterinarian and the conclusion is there is not damage that causes her pain, however she is no longer an under-saddle candidate.
